Kilkenny Maltings Enterprise Centre

The Kilkenny Maltings Enterprise Centre” represents the flagship project of Kilkenny Information Age, it is located in the heart of the city and adjacent to the Market Cross Shopping Centre. The building is a preserved structure, which dates back to 1810 when it was part of the O’Sullivan Brewery complex.

The site comprises two separate buildings, the larger building known as the “malthouse” and the smaller building with its distinct hipped roof known as the kiln house. Refurbishment of the building commenced in January 2003 and it will be ready for occupancy in 2004. This initiative represents the catalyst for the expansion and development of ICT in the city and a legacy to the information age initiative in Kilkenny.

The building has 1138m² (12,250 Sq Ft) of enterprise space in different unit sizes. These units range in size from 22m² (241sq Ft) to 92m²(989 Sq Ft). The building will be served by broadband connectivity.
